This policy explains how Rabiu Plumbing & Heating Ltd collects, uses and protects your personal information when you contact us or use our website. We only collect what we need to help with your plumbing and heating enquiry, and we never sell your details.

Rabiu Plumbing & Heating Ltd is a plumbing and gas-heating business serving Medway, the South East and London.

- When you contact us by phone, WhatsApp or email — the details you choose to share, typically your name, contact number and a description of the work you need.
- Automatically — like most websites, our hosting provider logs limited technical data (such as your IP address and browser type) to keep the site secure and working.

We use the information you give us to:
- respond to your enquiry and answer your questions;
- prepare and provide quotes or estimates for the work you ask about;
- arrange, carry out and follow up on work you book with us;
- keep our own records and meet our legal and tax obligations.
Our lawful bases for this are our legitimate interests (to deal with enquiries and run our business), taking steps at your request before entering a contract, and, where it applies, your consent or compliance with a legal obligation.
4.Who we share it with
We use a small number of trusted providers to run our website and handle enquiries:
- Vercel — hosts our website and may process limited technical/server-log data.
- WhatsApp / Meta — if you message us on WhatsApp, your message is handled under their terms.
- Instagram / Behold — our website shows our latest Instagram posts using Behold (behold.so); viewing the embedded feed may involve a connection to Instagram/Meta.
- Google Fonts — serves the fonts used on the site.
We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we only share it where it is necessary to deal with your enquiry, to run our website, or where the law requires it.
5.International transfers
Some of the service providers above (for example our website host and the providers that deliver web fonts or messaging) may process data on servers outside the UK. Where that happens, your information is protected by appropriate safeguards recognised under UK data protection law, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or equivalent contractual protections.
6.How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details only for as long as we need them — to respond to you, to provide a quote, and to keep reasonable records of work and customers. Enquiries that do not lead to work are normally deleted within around 24 months. Records relating to completed work may be kept longer where we are required to do so for tax, insurance or legal reasons.
7.Cookies & how the site works
This website does not use advertising or analytics tracking cookies. We only use the storage that is strictly necessary for the site to work, plus the embedded Instagram feed described above.
Our web fonts are served by Google Fonts, which may receive your IP address in order to deliver the fonts to your browser. You can control or block cookies through your browser settings; doing so will not stop you using this website.
8.Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
- ask us to correct information that is wrong or incomplete;
- ask us to delete your information, or to restrict or object to how we use it;
- ask us to transfer your information to another provider, where that applies;
- withdraw your consent at any time, where we rely on consent.
